Scientist-B: Centre for Earth Science Studies (CESS) is a R&D Centre established by Government of Kerala in 1978 to carry out research on various disciplines of Earth Sciences. This institute is recognized by Kerala University, MG University and Cochin University for doing Ph.D programmes.

Job description: To Manage the CESS library Scale of Pay: Pay Band -3 /Rs.15600-39100 + Grade Pay Rs.5400/- In addition to Basic pay, DA, HRA, Transport Allowance, CCA, Gratuity, Professional Update Allowance etc. at CSIR rates are also admissible.Age limit : Maximum 35 years as on 30.11.2011.Relaxation of age limit and other concessions, required to be provided for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe and Other Backward Class candidates in accordance with the orders issued by the Government from time to time will be applicable.
